Knee

Tendons are tough bands of fibrous connective tissue that connect muscle to bone. Fascia, connective tissue comprised of collagen like tendons, is responsible for maintaining structural integrity, providing support and protection, and acting as a shock absorber.

Knees are used in sport activities that involve repetitive motion, such as running, soccer, and skiing. Similarly, activities of daily living, such as squatting, kneeling, and climbing stairs, also involve repetitive knee movement.
